The September 11 Digital Archive. Saving the Histories of September 11, 2001

The September 11 Digital Archive uses electronic media to collect, preserve, and present the history of the September 11, 2001 attacks in New York, Virginia, and Pennsylvania and the public responses to them. The Archive is working with the Smithsonian Institution's National Museum of American History, Behring Center; Museum of the City of New York; New-York Historical Society; City Lore; and other local and national institutions.. The collection includes texts, photos, videos, web-logs and discussion groups concerning the terrorist attacks and the public responses on it. Furthermore an annotated guide leads to wide range of current websites and online ressources.
